Nice pack but I have question for implementing the movement like your demo video. I am using Game Maker but unsure what type of character controller to use, does player look where mouse is at, player moves with just W key or WASD? Not sure most natural way to set up if you can help please get movement like your video thanks :)
thanks! Yeah in the video the movement is based on the mouse cursors position, pressing W make the character move in the direction of the mouse. Pressing A or D makes the character strafe perpendicular to the mouse cursor position and pressing S makes it move away from the mouse position.
Awesome stuff, It's actually inspired me to work on a zombie survival RPG. Can't wait for your future zombie packs, if I can help please let me know. If you are open to request for possible content in this style, A transportation pack with an Airport, a Train Station/Depot and a Bus station would be nice.
Great suggestions! Im currently working on a survivors pack with different weapon and gear options, but after that i might go for another tileset asset.
Hello! I'm confused with the naming convention of some of the files.
For example with walls, I've attached an image with 'Wall B1_S' on the left and 'Wall B16_W' on the right. Assuming that the last letters in the names refer to the cardinal directions South & West, shouldn't those images both end in either S or W?
If you put 'Wall B1_S' and 'Wall B16_S' next to each other, they can't be continuous.
Or I don't understand the naming convention and how they're supposed to be placed.
The suffixes (S, W, E, N) are automatically added during sprite generation, and I haven't fully aligned the sprite orientations with their suffixes.
Re-orienting all the walls to match their directional suffixes accurately will require some time to implement. However, I'll make sure to implement this correction thoroughly in the next major update.
I’m absolutely amazed by your work, and I can’t wait to see what you create next. Your post-apocalyptic world feels so great and immersive—it’s like a game I desperately want to play. Keep up the amazing work!
I just got this over on the Unity Asset Store and I love it. The only thing I could wish for is a couple more weapons for the main character. Like maybe a pistol and a baseball bat or something. Really great asset. I even learned something new just looking at the included character controller. 5 stars! Fantastic demo scene, too!
This asset pack is absolutely fantastic! Everything from SmallScaleInt is a must-have. It’s a no-brainer, I highly recommend it. If you’re even slightly considering getting it .. just buy it, you will not be disappointed !
Request:
How about a fantasy/dungeon version? They’d be a great fit for your other character packs. If a full pack is too much, maybe just some props would be perfect. Most of the floor, walls, blood deco, and other stuff would work in either style of game.
awesome.can you please do a forest area in iso with abandoned power plants, ponds, lakes. Also a main survivor bases prefab with wooden fences, guard towers, trade stations kiosks/desks! Will buy it all!
love that suggestion! I'm actually planning alot of post-apocalyptic tile-sets, I already have a interior pack in the works but after that I can hopefully make a Rural one as you suggested.

Question, do you have a recommendation for tile palette settings when using these in Unity?
Hopefully i did not miss this elsewhere.
Thats really something you can experiment with to find what works best for you! I believe my setting are "Grid: Isometric", and cell size x2 y1 z2.

Thank you! Yeah I will keep expanding on the post apocalyptic world for a long time to come:)

Your comment made my day! Great suggestion, will definitely make a pack that works with more fantasy based games, perhaps Diablo 2 style with a twist.
Badass!!
